How to Tap Into Your Higher Potential
I just came back from India (where I’ve been traveling regularly for many years), and am noticing the positive changes from visiting countless sacred vortexes.
The most important teaching from studying the Indian wisdom traditions is that our limitations are mostly self-imposed.
In India, in fact, you’re more likely to realize the truth revealed by the spiritual masters: You are God.
And even if you don’t believe in God, you can connect with a higher energy that stems from the universe where everything is interconnected.
Steve Jobs, for example, said that he had acquired the highest knowledge in India, not in school. And this has also been my experience.
Jain temple
Last week on a balmy Indian night, I stepped for the first time into a Jain temple in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
On the grounds of the temple, I was immediately attracted to its lotus-studded pond.
Ringing bells, golden lights from ghee lamps, sacred music and chants, many lovely statues of Goddess Padmavati (or Lakshmi) had you believe that this was heaven on earth.
Each murti or form of the Goddess could provide you with a different miracle.
Some statues promised perfect healing from ailments, others protection for your family and loved ones.
Another form blessed you with immunity from natural calamities, another offered lasting prosperity. And so much more.
You become as you think
You can really become as you choose to be when you change your thoughts accordingly.
Try this (even if you’re a skeptic)
- For just one day believe (fake it if you must) that you’re already as you want to be: a genius, gorgeous, wealthy, powerful, enlightened.
- Add anything else you want to experience.
- Notice the changes; write them down in a journal or notebook.
If you’re satisfied with this experience, introduce these new beliefs into your daily life.
This is the secret: first you must have the desire, then believe it’s fulfilled. It will eventually come true, if not in this life, in your next life.
It is said, in fact, that time is not at all what we believe and that a human life lasts only eight minutes. Yet we perceive it as much longer due to the linear time we experience on earth.
This is a teaching that you can find in “Yoga Vasistha”.
How to experience bliss consistently
I passionately believe that the best things in life come from the Divine, and that it’s paramount for the human race to create harmony between our internal and external environments.
So if we want to experience peace among countries, abundance for all, harmony and beauty everywhere, we first need to acquire inner peace and bliss.
I’ve seen it countless times: whatever I tried to manifest with my own efforts didn’t really satisfy me.
One of these two scenarios happened:
- either the results didn’t seem impressive
- or the thrill from my achievements evaporated very quickly
But from my spiritual practice, from the blessings of my spiritual teacher, from visiting a power spot I’ve been able to go beyond my limited views, and both my taste and desires have changed.
As a result, I’m much happier with my life now than I’ve ever been.
In fact, a miracle can bring you lasting satisfaction because it comes with the priceless knowledge that you can have everything you want and that you’re infinite.
You can:
- have inner peace
- experience true love
- receive plenty of abundance
- make a difference
- connect with like-minded individuals
- fulfill your purpose
- enjoy consistent well-being
- experience freedom
